Dragonfly, I don't have it personally but people say the chip is better than what's in the Fiio options. I understand that the K3 is a desktop device that is to use with the computer. Q1 has an internal battery, and still has a pretty good DAC chip in it. My audio gear collection is Headphones-Audio-Technica ATH-M50x , ... Fiio E10 K, Fiio Q1 Mk2 , Fiio A1, VE Odyssey , Topping D50, Xduoo XD 05. Use the standard 3.5mm single-ended output and you will find a great experience with most headphones.
